Best protection for my new CTX 3030

I just purchased a new CTX 3030. Are there any better bags than the Minelab bag?

A better bag for your machine would actually be a hardcase. Personally, I've never used the factory bags. My machines may get scuffed, and that's all the bag will prevent, (and maybe moisture, but my machine gets wet also). I would be more concerned with it falling over, or being crushed.
