Best river scoop?

I was just wondering what would be the best scoop for a rocky river. I have looked around but I need some opinions. Thanks!

That is a hard one. Rocky can be hard to work with anything. Most scoops are made for sand and gravel. But they do work to pick up or flip rocks. Good luck!

In rocky rivers - I usually wear my mask & snorkel and a pair of gloves and drop down and fan
you'd be surprised at what size rocks can be easily moved with the wave of a hand under water

Fan with a glove on. Use a pick or short pry bar to move the rocks when needed.
