what do you guys think is the best for florida beach hunting...

I made my own out of two canes I bought from Goodwill, 4" black PVC for the armrest, nylon bolts and a bicycle hand grip. It cost me less than $30. It comes apart into 4 pieces (including the stock lower rod) for easy transport if required.

It probably could be more aesthetic if I were more creative, but it is very functional.

I use the 3 piece (behind the shoulder control box) set of shafts from Rods_by_plugger on Ebay. Same as the Andersons really,just i found them cheaper.They're well made and make a hell of a difference.

public and pm's....i ended up at kellco today and chose the over/under black long shaft from anderson...

i was after one of the bill babbs shafts that i have had before....

this anderson shaft....talk about a solid well made piece of work....this is really nice and built the way it should be...

I have the straight shaft for my Excal also but never liked to always have to take arm out of cuff and place it back in after digging. Once I removed the controls from the shaft I didn't need to use the cuff again. But it is what ever you get used too.

I cant imagine any better quality than what Plugger makes... I have bought two shafts from him, and they are both very high quality, and much less in price than the Andersons...
