Best version of Wipeout ever - Remember THE VENTURES?

I know the Surfaris did the orginal but The Ventures did it the best. Did anyone ever see these guys live in there heydey? I was born in 61 so I just missed em. Found out they had a total of 8 albums on the top 100 at one time. That's incredible for "just" an instrumental band. Anyway it would be great to get someone's take who actually saw them. Enjoy!

I was only 9 years old in '65 but I remember the song well...it played everywhere you went. My dad even liked it.
