Best wheat ever!

After sorting for wheats I was doing the boring job of putting the leftover coins in the sorter. A coin dropped out of my hand onto lap and I saw this. Oh my god it is the best condition wheat I've ever seen!

At first thought it was a regular 55. And was hoping it'd be a Ms65 double die. But then saw the S and lost all hope. Still a super coin!

Shinny red wheats are such beautiful coins. And to find one that nice in circulation is a great find. And the '55S is a low mintage coin too. I think it had the lowest mintage of any regular issued cent for over 50 years till the '09 cents were minted. I found a reddish '55S a couple of years ago but no where near as nice as that one. Your coin looks like it just came out of someone's collection. Certainly worth putting in a coin holder to keep protected.

I found a REALLY nice 40's S mint a few months ago, I put it in a 2x2 and called it a day. I think it was a 1945, but darn nice shape. I almost tossed it aside because it was so nice looking, figured it couldn't possibly be a wheat.
