what i think could be a blade from ohio, and what i think it looks like. from ohio.
the one pic is from the bottom, please tell me what you think.thanks

Yeah kind of looks like the bottom of a broken blade age not sure of.it definately looks worked who knows maybe youll stumble onto another peice of it in the future.
 

Broken piece for sure- as big as the point in the second picture.. I don't know. I would suspect it's smaller, in fact I would GUESS that there's only a small portion missing. I say that because it has what appears to be very shallow notches on the base for hafting and the broken area appears to be that of an impact fracture. In fact I'm almost sure it's an impact fracture. If that is the case then you are just missing a relatively small portion of the point (the tip). You won't find impact fractures on large blades like in that second picture because they weren't hurled through the air, smaller atl-atl points or true arrowheads end up having this type of break fairly freqeuntly though. IMO it's a very cool piece and an excellent example of an impact fracture. (Doesn't that make you wonder what it hit? Or missed?)
