Well, had a good day yesterday, Not so good today. $3.08. KyDigNQueen threatened to publicly shame me if I didn't post that she found 48 cents more than I for todays hunt. So $13 yesterday and $3 today, $16 total ÷ by 8 hr of detecting = $2 an hour. Hey, I didn't make that much an hour when I began working many years ago!

That is a bodacious bunch of clad coins and congrats to you & KyDigNQueen on your finds - a great hobby that will pay dividends - anyway thanks for sharing your post & I wish you two many more finds with your ATP.

Keep digging that clad, my 1st season (8 months) in 2014 I dug over $500, The clad bought me a pin pointer and assisted in me upgrading from an el cheapo TC-1023, to a Fisher F4 and then to the F75 LTD SE. I now hint more permissions so it is hard to get over $300 in a season face value, but the joy of digging keeper coins off sets the lower face value total. Nothing more fun than digging a bucket lister.

Congrats on the clad haul, :occasion14: this is the best hobby and it pays for itself.

2 bucks an hour for clad is pretty normal----that tends to ramp quickly higher when relics, silver & jewelry get mixed in. pay attention to the iffy deep targets, more fun than shallow clad hunting___ya' can always snipe quarters OTWBTTC. :---)

Well done,
Admitting you were bested by the bride will help keep peace on the home front. lol
Congratulations

Nice hunt you two. Good opportunities for keepers in Kentucky. Rich history.

2 bucks an hour aint bad at all. By the way I raise beans that apparently are named after you...d2

Bush or pole? They are my favorite.

Bush, I hate cutting poles or putting up fence wire. Just a couple of rows but close to an acre of purple hull peas. Having trouble keeping up with demand on the peas...d2

Nice job. If I was hunting with my wife and I beat her total, I would throw a quarter in front of her coil when she wasn't looking just to make her think she won ! Just keep them happy.

Oh yeah, love those purple hulls. Have a few rows planted.
By the way, my wife, KyDigNQueen, tells me I am a wonder and that she wonders about me all the time!

No need. I don't mind losing once in a blue moon ;)
