Beware Counterfeit Garrett Pro pointers are out there !!

I resonantly returned a pinpointer to Garrett for repair and it was discovered to be Counterfeit. take a look at the pictures it's pretty obvious when it's side by side with a real one. Can you "pinpoint" which one is real ?? yeah I had to do that LOL

Hmm...idk how "obvious it is" fromt hat pic for me personally. I will guess the bottom one is the fake. I have one here and brought it out to take a look (cheater cheater I know).

It appears the bottom one seems to have missed the yellow paint on the 2nd T in Garrett and the T on Pointer.

It also appears the recessed part the button sits in is not as well done as the upper one? IDK....just making observations and guessing. Got mine from KellyCo and it looks similar to the top one.
