bh 2500

does anyone have this model? I like it just wondering if anyone else has input on it

I have the discovery 2200 i think there the same detector just with a name change. They work pretty good just dig every signal.it goes pretty deep about 10" on a quarter.read the manual.its really a simple detector. The coil has to be moving to detect if ya wanna know more just ask specificaly what u wanna know and id be happy to help gl hh

sometimes I get let's say a 25¢ hit like 7 inches down. I dig out a plug check the hole again it's gone? it's not in the plug either? I use a pinpointer too. has this happened with yours? I always use new batteries too .

Are u using discrim? If so corroded metals form a halo around the object making it id higher that actual all detectors are like this.as soon as u dig it u break the halo and the item id normal so if u have discrim the signal may disapear. Was it a repeatable signal? Sometimes if u swing too fast and stop suddenly they will false so smooth swings are important. But if its repeatable, theres something there for sure, that, machine will pick up very tiny pieces or large pieces very deep.or maybe ur pinpointing wasnt quite right.

thx for the info,hh

Anytime , if u got more question along the way just ask ill always be will to help GL HH
