BH Land star setup?

I will be receiving a Land Star within the next couple days. What insights can anyone give me on its traits? I am in Western Washington. Soil is primarily gravely with lots of volcanic ash mixed in, very dry even though the weather is usually wet.

I'm pretty sure you can go online to BH website and get a copy of the manual. That should tell you as much as you would ever need to know. I have a Land Ranger that is very similar and it isn't hard to learn to operate it if you study that manual with detector in hand. Monty P.S.
