Big 8.66 carat diamond found in Arkansas

An 8.66 carat diamond was found at the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas. I had no luck when I was there. DD

I visited crater of diamonds last spring and got lucky... I found a 4pt diamond on Mother's day.... then spent summer doing mission work in Alaska. Returning, I stopped in the State Line district (WY, CO) and spent a couple of days exploring and panning for diamonds. I got lucky and found three Will know tomorrow when I take them to NC State University Geology Lab. 2 of them about 5pts, but the third is about 4-5 carats and colorless. If they are confirmed, I intend to go back and spend a few weeks panning. I was panning about 3miles downstream from known kimberlite pipe.
