Big bullet.

Can anyone ID this bullet?

I think both halves go together as they came out of the same hole.

It's next to a .50 cal, and a victorian penny for size comparison.

I cannot make out any marks on the base.

What does it measure? That's a nice pinfire bullet find too.

It kind of looks like a .577 Snider to me

This is as good as I can do with the measurements at this stage.


The lead projectile looks to go a fair way into the casing.
