Hey everyone,
I got out today for a bit with a buddy and hit a couple spots with an 1899 Barber quarter (his find) and a silver rosie(mine,1952d) between us. We decided to go back to his place and work the woods behind his house but I decided to give the fill in front a try. He was doubtful that I would find anything as cans had been dug within a few feet of where I picked up a good signal...To both our surprise out popped a copper! Phew! I haven't pulled one since the CT copper I posted so it was a most welcome sight and although it's in rough shape I (believe) I found my first Classic Head LC! There's no date but from what I can see of the bust that's what it appears to be. I apologize for the cell phone photos, I intend to get a good camera asap but for now I'm stuck with my phone and scanner. Anyways, that makes copper #16 on the season. Thanks for looking, good luck and stay cool out there!!! :sunny:
