Going threw some old pics, I found this. A buddy brought it by a couple years back. He was sending it off to have it papered when these pics were taken. He has moved to another State, and I've lost touch with him. I always wondered if it papered or, not. It looked and felt good to me, and him. John

I wonder if it got a paper too. If it did, and it came from around you I bet it is a Ramey knife. (or a sedalia, or a mississipian dance sword.)

Id say if it is authentic it is a mississippian sword or just a big buck knife.
 
I would almost bet money that the piece is authentic sure looks good anyway.

patina looks good.that is one crazy piece.could you just imagine walkin up and seeing that sticking out of the ground?thanks for sharing the photo.

boy what a heart breaker, thats is a double cumberland preform, lol. they break them in half and flute em.
