Hi Everyone, I am Steve all the way from South Africa. I have a Fisher F2 - I am from a city called Port Elizabeth(on the coast of South Africa).

Ive only been out for my first outing Yesterday and found quite a few things here by us. Hope to share some soon and also maybe get some advice and meet some friends.

Thank you very much, To be honest i have come here mostly because the forum is blooming. Metal detecting forums and websites in South Africa i wont say is very much updated or very busy with lots of traffic and users, so getting help on finds and information and advice is very hard to come by. I came accross this forum and saw how the people help each other and how many people are actually on the forum and just blew me away. Theres only a few guys that sell metal detectors here so when it comes to advice on what to buy they only want to sell their brand which is way above the newbies range to start off with.

Im glad im welcome into your house to have some fun and join in, We have loads of shipwrecks and history here in South Africa so im sure there is plenty to find.
