Dug this today in a field where I recently found a civil war bullet. Doubt anyone knows what this is or what it was part of. Weighs about 20 pounds and is about a foot long.

Looks like a section of rail to me. How thick is it? Different types of tracks for smaller carts. I know they did use thinner rail i.e. for mining and close transport.

Piece of a cast iron stove?

Can we see an edge photo and the other side?

The corner at the top right tells me its a piece of a wood burning stove.
