big "O" stump

Wheresthegoodstuff took me to an old sawmill area and he found a turn of the century old token. Now i didnt find much but i took wtgs to a spot and showed him this stump. Guys a VW bug can fit right on the top with room to spare. It must of been handsome tree in its day. 8)

a stump like that guys had to be fighting it hard to take down --popped off butons --change falling out of pockets as they rested --you know --come on you had to detect around it --didn't you? --find anything good?

you must be in CA I love old trees & take pix of them whenever I find them. a friend has a 300 yr old oak in her front lawn, unfortunately it split in 2 in the big storm we had. I am sooo glad I got pix of it. yours kinda looks like Thors' throne!

yup in cali and dont tell anyone but we were bout a mile outside the national park
