Hi, Thrift stores, Antique stores, Research for old sites, maybe a trip down south to an area with no snow or frozen ground :headbang: Thank God for this website, as you have alot of Brothers and Sisters that are around the world still hunting and still showing there finds :icon_thumleft: God Bless :icon_sunny: Paul :coffee2:

Nice finds :icon_thumright:

It might just be the way the pic is, but the LC appears to be 1818.

Research, research, research!

Find old maps online - read old newspaper microfilm at your library - talk to a local old person (my buddy's granny is 103, she'll be 104 in January) You never know what you'll learn.

Thoroughly clean and service your detector and gear.

Since I began this silly addiction, I started "books" for all my not-so-valuable coins. I tumble-clean them and then put them in (Whitman) folders. All the rest, I sort, wrap and dream of the day when I can use my findings to buy an additional detector.

By the way, the ground won't freeze for a while - you can probably get out for a couple more hunts. :tongue3:

Happy Hunting,

Nice old coppers...Congrats

Great finds! Be sure to let us know what the actual date is....I'm going to go with 1816.

In answer to your question, simply, move south.
