Big ring ID needed..........

A friend asked me if my internet detectives could ID this ring. Any ideas what the symbols mean etc... ?

Hi there Mike, I can't tell you anything specific about that ring but to me it looks Arabic or Muslim, the box looking thing on the side in the second pic looks like the holy shrine of mecca, maybe try to google the Haj which is i believe what Muslims call the pilgrimage they make to it, maybe some type of souvenir ring for going? hope this helps you.

On the top it says Mohammad in Arabic.

One side has Kaba (Mecca) and the other side has the mosque Medina depicted with other arabic script surrounding the buildings on both sides I believe.
