Thanks XP DEUS! Five silver day, 3-Mercury dimes, 1-Rosie, and a big silver half Walking Liberty 1927 very worn but still a cool find.

Assorted wheaties, clad, modern cat tag, and pieces of an old pocket knife.

Doninbrewster joined me for some hunting and he found a really nice 1912 Barber dime.

Half was a little more than 6" deep, under a couple of pesky roots. Unfortunately it got scratched by my Lesche.

I really am enjoying the XP DEUS. It's excelling in the trashy areas.

Hey, nobody cares your walker is a little worn, as it is great to find one ... period.
In 7 years I'm at 2 half dollars, so an average of one every 3.5 years I'll take regardless of condition. Tough to find BIG Silver.

Found a 1945 Walking Liberty on May 3 this year about a half mile away. I posted a thread back then. Im stoked that I found another!
