Big Silver & Firsts... Found a new favorite Spot!

My sons and I found a old vacant school this weekend and decided to head back out there today. Here's the result of 2½ hours of hunting in our new favorite spot.

The halves were both in the same hole at 5 inches. Boy did that scream at me. I almost didn't dig the hole because I figured it was a soda can or something.

1909 V-Nick Son#2 First
1891 Indian Son#1 First
1937- Buffalo
1947- Walker My First
1961D Franklin My First

And a 14-quarter-in-one-hole cache/spill - just 1967-80 clad though.

Ya, the variety suggests that there may be more out there given the time span involved... also that this place hasn't been hunted much over the years. There's a lot of 70s clad too and I always like to see that still at a site.

Way better than most of my nickles from around here.
