I found this today at a local park here in New Castle , Delaware had no ideal what is was other then it was silver it felt heavy ,

Further research indicates that this coin was minted into the 1900s... with the 1780 date on it.

Someone with more knowledge than I, needs to chime in on this one.

Nice find. I have one I purchased, they told me it was late 1800s restrike from original dies. Still old and silver!
