BigTim1973's finds for De. 8, 2008
Well bigTim1973 and I finally got to go out on a hunt together yesterday! Man I had a fun! Even if I only found 35 cents in clad and what Tim assured me was not part of an Alien Space craft..(party pooper!) LOL
Tim's was kind enough to share an old home site he believes is 100+ years old with me yesterday and let me use his Fisher 1265x which I plan to buy for the wifey and use as a backup/guest machine until my new XLT gets here!
Tim was swinging his new MineLab Xterra 50 which is an impressive machine! And his finds will show it. He found the half mark 10 feet from where I sat taking a cig break. Some guys have all the luck...LOL
No seriously Tim really knows his stuff and is GREAT company in the field. Man it was so much fun being out there with a fellow TNetter and someone that shares the same interests as I do. We may have not walked away with a pocket full of 20 Dollar Gold Pieces but it was a fun afternoon and time well spent with a new friend. I sure hope we get to get out again when my new machines arrives!
Now for the pics...The coin on the left Tim had already found before I got there and the German one like I said he found not 10 feet from my break area.. Does anyone know if it's silver? It sure seems to be! Enjoy!
