Yesterday after work my dad calls me and says it is going to rain around 1:30, which means 10:30, I am going to .. and check out the field at .... Place. do you wanna ride up?
I said yeah, he said alright, I'll be up in a few minutes.
He arrives, we leave and arrive there. As we are driving he is showing me where he found this it that and where old houses were in the field, etc
We get to the location and I grabbed my Deus 2 with 9 inch coil, instead of the Manticore. I load up mental metals coin program and begin to detect. I am unsure of the program so I switch to tekkna program, but I keep switching it back. I get to this one area and my dad is farther away because we were going to go and check out an area in the corn field, I see him cross from the field, to the road, and to the other side of the little creek it drainage area and he goes into the other field, he is way up there and I am trying along, as I am swinging the could I swing it a little wide into an arc, and I get a nice tone, but before that I found a button, anyway..
When I get that time I stop and swing schools time and did it, it want deep, it was nice and crisp and loud. I use my lesche instead of my shovel and I fill some dirt over, I use my pinpointer to target it and I break the first in half and I see big silver.
I got a little excited and look up and my dad has a target and looks at me and I know he is asking if it is silver, so I take my head phones off and I show him and say yes.
He comes to me fast, not super fast because he is in his mid 70's and I show him. Lol, he bugged out more than I did. Lol
Anyway that was the only coin I found that day and my first 2 Reale, and my 2nd reale ever.
