I set up my blind next to the cherry tree today and watched the birds enjoy the cherries....I didn't know that the Lazuli Buntings would eat them...Usually robins, waxwings, chats and others.

Not sure if the Yellow Warblers were mainly after caterpillars, but did see them take a peck at the cherries.

Wonderful shots Ron.

Supurb shots, Ron, as usual...LOL. Beautiful Lazuli Bunting. We don't see them often down here in the southern part of the state, though my daughter had one in her yard at Boise.
Jim

Very Nice! Is that a Yellow Warbler also?

Beautiful, thank you for sharing! :occasion14:

Thanks Jim, I've had a few around my garden and orchard area since they migrated back here this spring...They're a small bird and seen from a distance just look like most any other plain little bird.

Nice to see some western birds that I never see around here. You're a great photographer. Keep up the good work! Gary
