Birds of a feather don't always flock together.

Sometimes they cozy up with turtles or maybe it's the other way around?. Took this this morning at a local lake near by.

That's a spring hatched Mallard male. He's not very old. He probably hadn't been told not to hang out with those Teenage Ninja turtles.

I've only seen turtles sitting on this concrete pipe before, so maybe the turtle is trying to push him off.

Yeah there's countless baby Mallards born around here each year.
