As some of you guys know, yesterday was my Birthday. The weather was fabulous and the spot I picked did nothing but produce all day.
I don't know if any of you guys have a nickname for your detector(s), but I call my E-Trac, "The Monster"
Today was an example of why I picked that name. I ended up swinging the coil for 8 hours. It was non-stop swing and dig. I ended the day with 164 coins which included 2 foreign coins and 2 more silvers. For me, that is a Monster Hunt.
I still had about an hour of daylight when I decided to wrap it up. The Pope is in NYC and I had no idea of what the traffic was going to be like on the East Side. As it turned out, the roads were pretty empty.
My finds for the day were: 26q, 43d, 3n, 71 memorials, 16 Wheat Pennies, (27, 29, 42, 44(4), 45(2), 46, 47, 50, 50s, 54d, 56, &56d), a 1970 1/10 Balboa from Panama, a 1964 Canadian Penny, a no date Buffalo Nickel, a 1938 Mercury Dime, and a 1936 Washington Quarter.
My Silver Coin Total for 2015 is now 124

Wow, lots of digs! Good looking spot there too.

Happy birthday!

Happy Birthday!

Holy Cow, that's a lot of digging! Awesome hunt!
Happy Birthday!

Nice haul, congrats on the silver and happy birthday.

Happy BD, I like to detect on all my holidays including BDs, so know the feeling. The feeling I won't like is carry 'the monster' all day!

Happy Birthday as well, there's nothing better than just going out and digging in the dirt on the one's own day-the best gift one can give themselves.
Well done on the totals and the silvers, the machine isn't that bad for swinging all day if one is digging lots of targets, it's when I'm only digging a one every 10 minutes the arm starts to take the beating.(the 5" coil helps.:laughing7:)

Happy Birthday- looks like you got the best present of all- a day doing exactly what you wanted to do. Great results, can see why you like your detector!

Happy bday and congrats on the hunt buddy!

Happy Birthday, & it looks like another great hunt for you.

Happy Birthday.

The machine is not the monster... YOU are the monster! 164 coins... whoa! I dug 106 a couple of weeks ago, and it wore me out, now it was hot, but at the end of the day, I was pretending not to hear the good signals, just so I wouldn't have to bend over again.

Congrats on a nice hunt, and making it another year.

Congrats on all those finds that the "Monster" assisted in finding on your birthday. That is a large coin count for a hunt and your silver count that is over 2 times my goal for the year. My main detector is named "Martha" That's my mother's name. 2 years ago, since I have never asked for anything since I left home 30 days after graduating high school (back in 1977), she gave a me a grand. I believe it was to ease her conscience since all of my other siblings depended on her generosity over the years. I let that grand sit for about a year. I did finally use it to purchase my F75 LTD SE. I ran acrossed it on craigslist. A fellow MDer (from western PA) had to leave the hobby due to health concerns. I received $1600 worth of gear for 8 bills.

Happy Birthday! :occasion18: It seems you gave yourself a nice bd gift! Congratz on the silver!

Wow that's a lot of holes to dig

THIS MAN IS A CLAD AHOLIC .......

Great haul there with an early quarter and a nice dime along with enough battery money to buy the big box of batteries for your monster.
