As some of you guys know, yesterday was my Birthday. The weather was fabulous and the spot I picked did nothing but produce all day.
I don't know if any of you guys have a nickname for your detector(s), but I call my E-Trac, "The Monster"
Today was an example of why I picked that name. I ended up swinging the coil for 8 hours. It was non-stop swing and dig. I ended the day with 164 coins which included 2 foreign coins and 2 more silvers. For me, that is a Monster Hunt.
I still had about an hour of daylight when I decided to wrap it up. The Pope is in NYC and I had no idea of what the traffic was going to be like on the East Side. As it turned out, the roads were pretty empty.
My finds for the day were: 26q, 43d, 3n, 71 memorials, 16 Wheat Pennies, (27, 29, 42, 44(4), 45(2), 46, 47, 50, 50s, 54d, 56, &56d), a 1970 1/10 Balboa from Panama, a 1964 Canadian Penny, a no date Buffalo Nickel, a 1938 Mercury Dime, and a 1936 Washington Quarter.
My Silver Coin Total for 2015 is now 124
