I first couldn’t tell it was glass, until I saw the broken part. I think it was probably from some wine bottle. I would like to ask if anyone could help tell me it’s age, or what bottle it may have come from l? Thanks for responding!6BDF3145-5098-4269-BA5C-6C90E28CB685.webp5A0F24E2-0B6A-468B-9D7A-77ACC8C72C83.webp047ADF7F-752E-4C1F-B160-6989A55F19AD.webpAF349EBB-8A6B-4B46-BC4F-70748D23AAED.webp

Looks like a quart sized porter or ale to me, 1850s or so. Hopefully, there's more bottles that age in your creek.

Wherever you found that, there's likely more old glass and/or artifacts nearby. Might even try a metal detector if you have one. Good luck.

Thanks for the responses, it is amazing how one can find pieces of history in a creek. Strange thing is that I was fairly certain they were no homes in my area at that time. At one point I had found a wagon hub in that same section of creek. Thanks again!

wow thats old glass hope you go look for more
