blank buttons

Ive got 5 or 6 buttons around some old cellar holes and was wondering if there is any way to tell what what they are or if they are worth anything all of the buttons are about the size of a half dollar with a shank and nothing on either side, Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.`

dude we call them "flat buttons".In your case there all colonial buttons for sure.Take your time hunt them cellar holes and becareful how you clean them up as you might find a Washington Inagural.NIce finds btw.!
