Hello all its been forever since I last posted. I have not bottle dug or used my metal detector in months since I have been traveling for work. I might make it out next week though when I'm home!

Anyways, I found this in my change and thought I'd post it. I'm betting it's just worn down on purpose and not a true blank, but I figured I'd see what the smart minds on the forum would say. It's the same size as a penny and almost the same width (it might be a little thinner). I can't see anything on either side. I do not have a scale to weigh it. Thanks for looking! Seems that the edge is too defined for just normal wear. I will let the experts tell us. Thanks for sharing

I'm sure somebody will add their 2 cents worth and tell you what it is for sure, cool find.

looks to be a legit blank planchet to me...

looks a bit like it was acid affected.a close look with loupe would reveal some pitting if so.even in the photo it looks that way but photos are tough.look close and let us know.a planchet would not be pitted and I see quite uneven patina.
