Yes I know this mansion is in Knoxville, TN, but it was a Mississippi guy that was there!
I just wanted to share with you guys if you are ever in Knoxville that you need to go on this tour.
Blount Mansion
It will cost you $7 but it is well worth it.
If you ever encounter one of these at a dig site, the tour guide said they are VERY valuable:
They used it to grab coals out of the fire to light their pipes supposedly.
I had no idea what it was, so I had to ask.
