✅ SOLVED blue edged pearlware

I found this yesterday in the Shenandoah River. I believe it is blue shell edged pearlware with a feathered pattern. It must be from a saucer as from the scalloped edge to flat part is only about an inch or so. The screwdriver point shows where the plate flattens out. I don't know much about pottery just wondering as to its age? Thanks

I'd say around 1800, with 20 years wiggle room in either direction.

Pearl Ware is a good find that often helps date the sites we dig. Doubt that it was after 1820 although some shards of Pearl Ware can be later discards as older wares broke with their long usage.
