We get these goofy guys at the feeder sometimes. They make quite the racket when they show up.

There are 17 common species of parrots that can be found in Florida, none are native to Florida but have escaped from captivity over the years.
 

Yeah, been around here for decades. Lot's of different parrot types living in Florida. They cause no problems except they can strip a fruit tree.

Keys have a lot of Nandy Conuers and a lot of Quaker Parrots in the Tampa area.
I did a job years ago at Patrick AFB, now Space Force Base. Hundreds of regular parakeets (budgies) living there.
 

Few years back we were at Ocean Beach in San Diego and they had Parrots up in the palms also. They were chatting away. It always gets my attention when I hear an unfamiliar bird sound.
