found this blue stone in the beach, it is a little translucent with a 220 grit sandpaper texture. curious what it might be.

Yep that is sea glass.tumble it and it should polish up.

Yes sea or beach glass, people collect it like crazy out here along lake Michigan and supposedly that color is more rare and sought after...I think.
