I got out this weekend with my 7 year old grandson and did a little hunting in freshly plowed, rained on field near a creek. We got a few back halves, broken tips, and a few tools. The grandson found a halved scrapper or what some folks call a blunt on his own and a tip. I got to the end of a row and was walking back up when I spotted this bolen laying out sunning it's self. I sure wish that the tip was in better condition but, I'll take it! It's a bout an inch and a half long.

Awesome, I'm in Georgia too. I've found so many like the one you posted, congratulations.

Good point! Good time with the kid!

Looks good to me, awesome find! :icon_thumleft:

Awesome find. In Illinois that would be a Thebes. Just going by your picture.

The real treasure is getting to share the love for artifacts with your grandson....Those times outdoors are some of my best childhood memories. The point is very nice also! Nice save!

Everything about that point is nice

Nice one, Jim. Tough to find 'em in plowed fields in that good a shape anymore.

That’s a great find. Love to see a photo demonstrating that bevel.
