Bone Tool?

I found this bone in the field looks to be a deer bone it looks pretty old it looks like it could be
an awl or some bone tool not real sure some opinions would be nice. it is 8 inches long.

It looks like a deer ulna, which is the right material for a trigger awl, but I haven't seen any that long before.

Is the end sharp and polished?

Like Joshua said, that is a Ulna of a deer and they did use those to make Bone Awls, but that one hasn't been utilized yet.
