Trash or Treasure?

It has no copywrite date, but someone had written in pencil inside the back cover, Dec. 3 1928, Savage Montana

Maybe bookfisher or someone else could help with the disposal.

Uncle Tom's Cabin was written as a serial and began appearing in the anti-slavery journal, the National Era, in 1851.
(In spite of the 1853 date on the title page, the book was actually published in mid-December 1852, making it available for the holiday gift-buying season

Uncle Tom's Cabin is one of the most famous and read books, not only in United States but also worldwide. Its author xrote the book after the appearance, in 1850, of a legislative document in which it was stated that fugitive slaves should be denouced.

nice gypsy i once had the 1th moby dick but was not worth to much. we got a historic marker near owensboro ,KY about uncle toms cabin. i don't recall what it said. its between maceo , KY and owensboro , KY
