Hello all,
I'm a total newbie to American Indian artifacts but have been fascinated by them for years. My interest has built greatly since finding this site. I've read many posts that indicate a vast knowledge of points etc by the members here and was wondering what book(s) would be recommended reading for someone new to this. I would like to build an overall knowledge but my searching will be primarily limited to western Ct, thus I would be trying to identify items from that region. Thanks for any help.

LOL. I googled points and only had 94,300,000 hits. Off to read.

Your local library will have some I'm sure. I know mine does, I have went there on occassion and browsed there artifact books.

Your State Archaeological Society Journals are an excellent Tool for learning your local points. John
