I had quite an adventure yesterday. Myself and a couple of friends had a whole day of
treasure hunting ahead of us split between two sites.
We began at a bottle dump. It started well. I found a nice "giraffe bottle" and a neat
old buckle.

My friend's son asked me if I was going to where jeans to dig. I assumed I'd be fine
in shorts. He warned me more than once but it took a slip and fall to wise me up.
I got a gash on my shin(I'll spare you the photo). I left them at the dump and spent
3 hours in the ER. In the end I got three stitches. I hurried back to the dump.
In my absence they found many bottles and a 1893 Columbus Half dollar.

After my return we moved on to site #2.
We were now looking for Indian artifacts. The first signal dug was a very nice
trade brooch.

We found another small silver trade brooch and a fantastic trade silver ring.

Last photos shows a couple of "gun parts",a buckle, what appears to be an
old copper patch and a piece of rim sherd off a clay pot.

In the end we had a great time.
