Looks to have some good honest wear on the base. Probably old enough to be a period Pontic scar. Nice one

A woman I used to work for gave them to me in the early 70's. Her house was full of antiques.After she passed away, her daughter in law sold everything and made a bundle of $$.

7”h., MCK GIII-2 , type 1,pure olive ( black in reflected light), flared lip, heavy fluted shoulder with sunburst in diamonds , pontil scar; Mount Vernon Glass works, Mount Vernon, NY, c.1820’s, other than an insignificant pin-head sized flake on the shoulder, mentioned for accuracy, the bottle is otherwise mint. Beautiful impression and pure olive color, text book Mount Vernon!

Holy cow. Thanks DCMatt. All of my other bottles that I have dug over the years are only worth a couple dollars. I had planned on selling this on Ebay. I don't think I will now.
