Did you dig those bottles? beautiful stuff. Used to be able to find early to mid 1800's pontil stuff here in Hawaii. Especially along the waterfront, but it's all covered under asphalt and concrete and if by chance there is something that is uncovered, the Bishop museum and it's archeologists shut it down faster than you can blink and declare it a historical landmark. Maybe its for the best because some bottle diggers are savage and brutal in their techniques... sorry, I'm rambling on. Again, breath taking bottles. Thanks for sharing the photo's.

Even if one did not like old bottles ,.. I believe they would have to agree , these pic's are pleasing to the eye ,..nice work & fine pic's !!

Thanks, Most were trades and bottle shows. Maybe 5 or 6 off ebay. Most of my digs were 1870 - 90 stuff.

NOW THATS SOME OLD GLASS!!!! LOVE UM!

'Road Dog', have you no conscience! Do you ever worry about discouraging other collectors . . . like me? "I should just give up 'cause 'Road Dog' has all the good bottles now!" Shame on you! :notworthy:

You crack me up Harry (Lord of the Black Glass). :tongue3: I'm small potatoes in the bottle world. I'll post just one more pic.
