Botton found in New England

I'm new to metal detecting, and I found this botton in my backyard which is in an old New England town with alot of history. Not sure what it is or when it is from. Wanted to know if anyone can ID this for me. Thank You in advance for your help.

Hi Soccer--

You've got a U.S. Army General Service button, depicting the Great Seal of the United States. It's kind of hard to date, since it's been in use from 1902 to present. Not rare, but a nice find--and yours has nice gilt left on it. Keep up the good detecting!
