One of the banks I deal with called me and said the box I ordered was in....well I go there and the darn thing didn't have a top on it....they took/cut it off. I'm thinking to myself....what the he**
All of the boxes I have bought have been unopened....sealed and there is that date on them.
Has anyone ever had this happen? Is this common? They were wrapped in that tight wrap roll like the normal box wraps...whatever that wrap type of roll is called.
I asked the teller if they had any large dollars and she immediately told me they buy them as soon as they get them which made me even more curious about this topless box. I know where the bump will be tomorrow....lol.
I did find a 64 and 4-40% from that box. Monday & todays total yielded 19 silver coins....the 1 90% and 18-40% along with a 1988-S and a 2003-D.
If anyone has an idea of the missing top...please advise. Thanks.
