Bounty Hunter 840

I actually found this group because I was unpacking some of our stuff and found our Bounty Hunter 840, which I bought around 1980 and had never used or even opened the box much. The thing is brand new. So I was searching Google to see if it was worth anything and came across the old page for this forum.

Are these still worth anything? Are they a good detector? I may take it out and try it sometime if it is.
