bounty hunter land ranger

Hello all,I just found this site and it looks great. I recently bought a bounty hunter land ranger for my dad who is retired. Can anyone tell me anything about this detector? is it a good one to start with? We live here in southern oregon,any good sites around Klamath Falls area? Thanks

It's great for coins and caches, it's not made for gold (most of which is tiny). Check for clubs in OR, there are quite a few.
