Bounty Hunter Legacy 2500 For a Beginner?

I have a friend who is thinking of getting a Bounty Hunter Legacy 2500 for a starter machine. I have never used a B.H. before. Can I get some input from those that know the brand? He would be a general hunter looking for coins, relics and the like. I do not think he would hunt beaches. Thanks in advance...

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the Legacy 2500 . Some Bounty Hunters do a great job , others are not as good . Never used the Legacy.. Have a great day . Hope someone helps answer your post..
