bounty hunter pinpointer

I use my old BH detector as a pin pointer lol. I put a 5 inch coil on it, and it does a good job. I recently bought a Garret Pro Pointer. When they work, they are the best thing I have ever used. Save your pennies, get a Garret PP.

Bounty hunter pin pointer in my opinion is not that good save 30 40 more bucks get a garrett

Destroyed two in 3 months now there my sons toys go the extra cash even if you have to wait here's a pic of your bounty hunters near futer

I am so reliant on my Pro Pointer that I will end a hunt if my batteries give out. I carry an extra battery on me just to be safe. I also keep a backup in case mine gets broke especially when I am on a long hunt.

I really don't know how I got along without one for all those years. My finds have increased and I dig 6 holes to one without a pinpointer.

has anyone used the bounty hunter pinpointer and could give me an opinion based on your experience, i would appreciate it, thanks

I got a Bounty Hunter pin pointer in a package deal with my Bounty Hunter Lone Star Metal Detector. I like it but have already worn a hole in the tip of it. It still works but now gives false positives beeps if I press down too firmly in searches because the open hole in the tip allows the housing to move around a bit. All in all it is way better than nothing. But I will upgrade to a Garrett Pin pointer because of the narrowing down repeating audible feature it has plus the led flash light. It will save a lot of time in the final bits of a search. I have spent a lot of time not being able to quickly get right on the target in the hole or in the plug. The Garrett PP seems like it has a greater sensing distance than the BH PP. The Garrett is a lot more money, so you have to follow with what you can afford/willing to spend
