Bounty Hunter Sharp Shooter II

My wife bought me my first MD for X-mas. I'm anxious to get out and use it. It's a Bounty Hunter Sharp Shooter II. Does anyone have experience with this detector? It seems pretty cut and dry to use.

Hey Fighter 59: The SSII is a decent MD for the money. If you want specific tips from a number of fellows who use one, cruise on over to the BH forum at:

Click on the bulletin board tab, set up your sign-in account and ask any questions you have. Many over there use the SSII and the Pioneer 505 (sold at WalMart, same as SSII but with added depth indicator) with great success. Hope this helps a bit. BBJ

That was my first detector and I found tons of clad and a few rings. It is a great starting machine. You will have fun!
