We found these Gorman EP skewers made for the Bowman hotel "chain" that included the Biltmore hotels. They are dated 1921, 1934 and some are without a date meaning they are produced after 1934 when Gorman stopped putting a "date mark" on them. Some are bent at the tips but they all "cleaned up" well! Anyone have an idea as to their worth or if they have any worth at all?
As always, many thanks!

I’m currently going through my silverware.
I’ve learned that the Hallmarks will tell you if they are silver or silver plated . Google is a big help.
Silver is 10.45, you can do this test easily if you have a precise scale.

Thanks for the info.... I did find that Gorman marked their products with EP which stood for electroplating of silver over metal. I wish they were silver or sterling silver.... They are very a cool piece of a long gone time!

Cool though they are, they’re indeed all electroplate, and probably only worth a few dollars each. In fancy restaurant terminology, they would be termed “brochettes”.

In addition to actual dates (as on some of the pieces) Gorham (not 'Gorman') also used pictograph symbols for date marking in some periods. One of yours has an ‘acorn’ for 1924, and another has a ‘winged wheel’, which is for 1931.

These types of meat skews really don't have a great value it seems.
Here's an example of a set.
Though it doesn't clarify if it's each or 8 pieces.
