Boxes didn't come in, but got about $200 in loose halves

I called the bank and they didn't order my boxes of halves yet. I don't get mad about that anymore because usually when it happens, I have better luck driving around and buying loose halves from different banks. Today I drove around to about 4 or 5 banks and got about $200 in loose halves. From that I got 3 - 1964 kennedys and 18 - 40% kennedys. Not bad. I am content.

Nice pickup for $200 worth !

While waiting for my next box(es), on my way home from work, picked up about twenty three dollars in loose halves.

No silver, but did get a nice 03P.

Bring on the boxes.

Thirteenth box of halves this year proved pretty lucky and was my third highest percentage of keepers (3.7%) at one time.

Retrieved a 64P, thirty five 40%ers (65, 66x6, 67x9, 68Dx9, 69Dx9...including my first silver clad 76S!) and a nice 02D.

Hit a new bank this weekend and they had $295 (in loose halves).

It produced seven 40%ers (a 67, 68Dx3 & 69x3).

Additionally, though not a customer, they had no problem ordering boxes of coin for me. I'm expecting a box of halves and (they said they think they can get) a box of Ikes. We'll see.

Either way, another source for boxes of halves.
